Lemon Bay Conservancy is your local land trust
serving Southwest Florida since 1971.
Our three-pronged mission:
Saving Land by taking title to environmentally sensitive properties
and placing them under permanent protection, and facilitating preservation through support of community projects.

Educating residents and visitors alike about the fragile
ecosystems of Southwest Florida.

Advocating appropriate land and water conservation policies,
programs, practices, laws, and ordinances.


One of our several recently initiated ventures, the Wildflower Project will permanently protect 80 acres of environmentally sensitive land from development. Our success inacquiring this property, will transform it into a nature preserve. Help us in our effort andhave fun at the same time.
